Almost a dozen local and new companies announced plans to create 200 new jobs in Taylor in 2011. As of January 2, 2012, more than 76% of those jobs have already materialized.
In addition, the City and the TEDC are currently negotiating contracts with three more companies which are expected to be announced by the end of 2Q 2012.
